• T-type solenoid valves account for an estimated 78% of new golf course irrigation installations in 2026, displacing traditional globe and angle valves because of their integrated flow control, pressure regulation, and DC-latching solenoid compatibility in a single inline body.
• The shift to battery-operated wireless controllers is the primary driver — T-type valves accept DC-latching solenoids that draw power only during state changes (open/close), enabling 2–3 seasons of operation on a single set of batteries.
